Demattè chooses copper, iron, wood and bronze: materials that have always accompanied humankind, changing colour as time passes.

Two ways to create site-specific works
The artist enters into a relationship with the space and the people who inhabit it through a process of observation, dialogue and intuition that precedes the creative gesture. The work is made in the studio and transferred once complete.
The artist creates live and the work grows together with the place, interpreting its potential and returning a new reading. It may happen during an event — sporting, cultural — an opening, a celebration or a presentation.
